The Ecology School and edible MAINE invite you to join us for the inaugural Artisan Weekend at River Bend Farm! Spend the weekend gathered in rural Maine to:
Rest and relax in sustainably built accommodations
Enjoy delicious meals with farm-to-table ingredients
Learn and engage with local food artisans and makers
Peruse and purchase local goods from the marketplace and more… Participants will enjoy three workshops focused on a specific aspect of the local Maine foodscape(cheese, seafood & aquaculture and grains)including breakout opportunities to learn from and engage with professional makers and artisans in small group settings. In between workshops, participants are invited to enjoy the River Bend Farm campus and relax over farm-fresh meals prepared by The Ecology School’s own chef, Rich O’Brien.
